USB not working on Craneboard

Hello,
I have connected a USB motor controller to my Craneboard, and I get
the following error:

hub 1-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 1. Maybe the USB cable is
bad?
hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1

I am not sure what the problem is, any suggestions?

Thank you

Hi BoB,

Could you please try connecting the USB motor controller device using
USB hub.

Hi,

Please make sure that you are connecting a self-powered-HUB. Otherwise, the
craneboard may not be able to source the current required by your device.

Hi Rafalski,

If you are trying to connect high current devices either to USB or OTG port, usage of a USB powered hub might be necessary. However, try using a USB Powered hub which might help your cause.

Below mentioned is the command for enabling OTG port to work in host mode:
"echo F /proc/driver/musb_hdrc"
