WiFi is set to Autoconnect, but will only connect manually via "test-connman connect"

So I’m at a bit of a loss as to why my WiFi setup won’t autoconnect to my network at home. I can manually connect using "test-connman connect ". I’ve confirmed that it is set to “Autoconnect 1”. What else is there to check?

I’m trying to decide if I should scrap connman and connect without it like others have done, or figure out why autoconnect isn’t working. It seems like connman is a bit fiddly as a text-based configuration manager (I’m sure it’s great in a GUI).
