Wifi - troubleshooting assistance

Really need some help here. I have a project due at the end of the week for graduation and I cannot overcome the wifi issue. i’ve tried to wifi dongles and neither are working.
Any help is appreciated. At this point it seems to work except it will not connect or allow connections. I suspect something with the usb…but I don’t know where to go from this point

So far

  • Belkin n 150 surf micro.
  • Chipset is the realtek 8192cu
  • Kernel 3.2.18+
  • realtek source files from april 2012 compiled kernel module against source.
  • no rfkill blocks

if anyone cares…the answer seem to lie in connman.

My drivers and kernel were working perfectly, but connman seem to conflict with everything else.
i access my board over ethernet with ssh because I have a partner who is offsite and tests code on the board as well.
connman based on my interpretation of this document doesn’t allow multiple connections.

Check out this blog post:

connman is not easy to configure, its great for the initial plug and play setup but I had to removed it when I needed to make some use of the board.

btw, that blog has some other excellent posts you might be interested in.
