Will Beagleboard migrate to cortex-A9 OMAP4440 or OMAP4430?
BeagleBoard.org is committed to open source software and hardware and to provide the fastest processor available through distribution that meets the ultra-low power requirements. We are watching the OMAP4 series of processors with great interest and it is a very new technology with real promise of things to come. If an OMAP4 processor becomes available through distribution that meets the design goals, BeagleBoard.org will be there.

Any updates on shifting to OMAP4 series?
Another rival for the Pandaboard which is just $179? Can you give just one reason why?
If I could get an OMAP4 BeagleBoard (or anything else, really) and a high-res camera board that would work with it (e.g. a Leopard Imaging LI-5M03), I would buy it - a bunch of them, in fact. Near as I can tell, you still can’t buy a plug-and-play camera board for the PandaBoard (astoundingly).
Chris,
There’s a camera adapter for PandaBoard that is sold at BoardZoo.com

This camera adapter has been validated with PandaBoard as shown below
