Disabling signature authentication via the HowToGeek article worked for me to get the drivers to install successfully on Windows 10 build 19044.1706 (which is up to date as of this comment). For me, every time I changed my boot settings (including disabling Secure Boot and enabling test mode), I had to enter my bitlocker recovery key but after doing that it worked.
Unless you are using a really old image, or a really old Windows… (Windows 8+ the drivers are not required)…
