windows embedded compact 7

Hi all,

I'm thinking about using a BeagleBoard xM for a project, but I have a
big preference for using Windows Embedded Compact 7 as an OS.

I find custom images and this OS for the BB, like the one on
http://www.adeneo-embedded.com/en/Products/Board-Support-Packages/BeagleBoard.

Now my question: if I already have a license for Windows Embedded
Compact 7, would this work with the version modified for BB like the
one above? Or do they require seperate licensing? I don't need the
source code by the way.

I'd go for Linux but I want to develop in .Net and I don't like lots
of command line tinkering to get the most basic tasks up and running
in an OS.

Thanks for you opinions!

I'd say your licensing questions are better answered by Microsoft than
by a bunch of mostly Linux users
