Is there a 3D model available for the BeagleBoard-X15
I want to create a couple of enclosures with freecad. I created some adapters to connect to the connectors.
The adapter is kind of generic. If you want to use all 4 connectors you would need to use 4 of them.
I use 2mm JST connectors for expansion. I haven’t tested yet, I need to get the smd connector.
I could create one if I had orcad but I don’t have it.
Being retired I can only afford KICAD
I have created an enclosure for it. It is big enough to house 4 of those little boards. I put the board with the heathsink facing down. If anyboby is interested I will publish the FreeCAD file and stl files on my website. I had to do it without the benefit of the 3D module.
Sometimes though it is a nightmare with the 3D. For BeaglePlay for example, it is extremely slow. It would be nice if the file would not be as complicated maybe it would not take fovever to load.
