Hi All and thanks for this fantastic community.
I’m a new user of BeagleBone Black and I’m excited to have one in my hands.
My problem is the following: I tried to plug in a micro-SD 2GB but I couldn’t see the card (it is not listed with fdisk).
I thought I could solve by updating the operative system, so I tried to flash the Angstrom Distribution (BeagleBone Black - 2GB eMMC) and did the following:
- unpack the file Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-GNOME-eglibc-ipk-v2012.12-beaglebone-2013.06.20.img.xz
- use dd command to transfer to the SD on my MAC
- powered down the BBB and plugged in the SD card
- pressed the USER/BOOT button
- powered the BBB
Effect is that the Power Led (the one close to power connector) stays ON forever.
In order to recover I have to remove the micro-SD and restart the BBB.
Does someone knows what could be wrong?
I have also tried Ubuntu image but issue is the same.
Thanks a lot,
Vince
