AI-64 makes noise when using multi inference

Hi,

I have a weird anomaly with the board that I have that is a bit strange. When running the multi input and multi inference demo the board make a clicking sound and the screen tears, the sound and the screen tearing are in sync. Is there a fault with the board or software error. I am running the web demo image version. I have put a fan on the board and that didn’t help. Any help with be appreciated thanks.

What image are you running, SDK version, Yocto build? Can you share your kernel logs, so on?

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an LDO struggling to deliver power under load.
What you’re hearing is most likely Inductor switching noise.

You can confirm this by putting a Scope on your LDO outputs and look for anything odd.

How much power is it drawing from it’s supply?
