has anyone look into transferring pcm audio data to the DSP using alsa.

There is an alsa dsp plugin which looks like it was based off of the maemo nokia 770 (omap based).

If that plugin is too specific to Nokia 770 that won't work since
OMAP1710 uses a C55, while OMAP3530 uses a C64x+.
