Altium C4 files?

Does anyone have Altium files for Rev C4?

Or Allegro ASCII?

Thanks!
Joel

Hi Joel,

The Allegro files and all other design documents for all of the BeagleBoard variants are available at

http://beagleboard.org/hardware/design

The Allegros are not in ASCII, but perhaps someone with the right software can save them as such. Can you tell us what software you are using that requires ASCII?

ASCII output from Allegro is used to convert to Altium.

Gerald

Joel,

I have the Altium project in the Summer 09 format for the Rev C4 Beagleboard.

The thing that did not translate from the Allegro files was the split planes. I have compared the Gerber layers with the Altium board and see where to fix it.

I have been working on other Billable work for a while but I am willing to share what I have so far.
I’ll need to pack it up and put it on an FTP site.

Normally this occurs because the order in which the polygons are poured is wrong. From the polygon manager, change the order so that the smaller polygons on each layer is poured first.

If you want to e-mail the big file to me, now that Google Groups no
longer has a file section :(, I can put host it on Amazon S3 like the
other design materials.

I have it posted and anyone that wants it can contact me. I have already given it to several people and it has worked out fine. This allows me to make sure the terms under which it is provided before they get it. Any updates can be sent to me as well, and I will post it.

Gerald

Yes they are Altium files. I can email you the same files, but I sort of doubt that will work.
