I am using kernel 4.19.x. I am trying to get the BBB to keep me on this kernel. It seems that if I want updated packaging via apt, the BBB is auto updating to the kernel 5.10.x.
P.S. Is there a way to
not update w/ apt to the 5.10.x kernel even when updating and upgrading?
I can always put in a bash script to handle promoting sed to handle such a task if necessary. I was just thinking there was a way outside of more scripting…
Yes, you remove the apt meta package, corresponding to 5.10 that is installed and pulling in the updates.
