You will need to supply at least 5V from the battery in order to use the USB Host port. If you don’t need the USB host port, then you can just connect a 3.7V battery to the DC input. You would need to provide the ability to charge the battery externally as there is no charging function on the board.
There are out there numerous places that have a couple of Lithium batteries in a case that converts it to 5V ready made for a USB connector. If the USB OTG is not being used, you could plug this directly into the OTG port and use it to power the board. If you can find a USB to barrel jack converter cable, you could also use this to plug into the DC port, freeing up the OTG port.

I will go through the points , i also want to bring the battery section into the board, so that it will be handheld.
