bb-imager fails to write recommended BeagleY-AI image

According to the manual, I chose:

  • BeagleBoard (CHOOSE DEVICE): BeagleY-AI;
  • Operating System (CHOOSE OS): BeagleY-AI Debian v6.1.x-ti XFCE (Recommended);
  • Use OS customization? (EDIT SETTINGS): set hostname, user/password, enable SSH (password);

Start image writing.

Expected

Image written and verified.

Actual

Got hash mismatch:

Hash of uncompressed image: "5503de72b22178a07876299157fc5847b17e8cea8722662d4f411f066147609b"

Note

The writing / verification process succeeds with BeagleY-AI Debian v6.1.x-ti Minimal image.

Known issue, use the newer imager… Release Continuous Release · beagleboard/bb-imager-rs · GitHub

Well, in this case plain dd and manual file editing seems much simpler.
