I have recently purchased BBB and BB View 7 inch LCD from Element14 Website. Now what my problem is i cant get output from LCD even-though Leds on Cape lights up when i connect it to BBB.
I have the following components
BBB Rev A6
BB View 7inch LCD from element14
Angstrom OS
Please can anyone say what should I do to observe the output from LCD.??
Did you disable HDMI virtual cape?
Did you patch the OS using the provided files from element14?

Download one of the packages (angstrom-image for you I’m guessing):

and then follow the commands provided in the manual to patch angstrom
