BB-XM - UART and FLASH memory questions - newbie

Dear all users of BB boards,

i’m totally newbie with that board and would like to ask you some simple questions :

  • how many UART are available on the connectors of the boards ? I need to use 3 distinct UART without handshake (only RX/TX pins)
  • I see a DB9 connector : is that for debug purpose ?
  • on the BB-XM, where is stored the OS ? is there any FLASH chip on the board, or the SD card is used for this purpose ?

thanks you very much for your answer
best regards
Phil

Did you look in the System Reference Manual?

-DB9 is for debug purposes generally, or you can override it for your use.

-OS is stored in the SD card you plug into the board.

-There is no FLASH on the board.

I suggest you go back to my first question.

Gerald

Sorry for the confusion. I thought the feature table was pretty simple. But, If you need me to explain it, let me know.
