BBAI and SD card booting and two penguins

Hi there,

yesterday I wanted to boot from a freshly flashed image. The BBAI was connected to my monitor. The boot didn’t happen, instead two penguins appeared on the screen (upper left corner) and the cursor was blinking all the time. I even waited for 2-3 hours.

What am I doing wrong? :slight_smile:

Hi @Otario please retest with the latest AM57xx images from here:

Do you have serial access (thru BBCAI Digi-Key Electronics | Cable Assemblies | DigiKey ) if so please share a boot log… If you don’t please just retest with the latest image first…

thanks for the reply. I will try to test the new images later this evening (central European time). Unfortunately I’ve no serial access…
I see there are no iot-tidl images available. Will this change in (near) future?

Are you actually using the TIDL subsystem on the AM57xx? I do need to port that from Buster to Bullseye eventually…
