Hello,
I’ve been trying out the 5.10 kernel series (in anticipation of using Debian 11 after it is released at the end of this month). I installed the 5.10.41-bone42 kernel onto a Debian 10 Beaglebone Black, and have seen a few problems:
Older (2016) BBB - Ethernet phy problems. Sometime after boot, there is no Ethernet connectivity and the message:
cpsw 4a100000.ethernet: phy “/ocp/interconnect@4a000000/segment@0/target-module@100000/ethernet@0/mdio@1000/ethernet-phy@0” not found on slave 0
is printed on the console.
Cheers,
Tim.
p.s. I also had some eMMC problems, but I’ll post them separately.
