BBB ttyUSB not mounted

Hi,

My BBB is running Ubuntu 13.10 v3.8.13-bone37 kernel

I have installed weewx weather station software and attaches the station through USB but cannot get the BBB to mount it on ttyUSBx

lsusb gives

dmesg | grep 1941:8021

[ 149.931157] hid-generic 0003:1941:8021.0001: device has no listeners, quitting

I have tried modprobe usb-serial vendor=0x1941 product=0x8021 but nothing

Nothing under /dev/

Anyone who knows what to do?

knowing nothing about this weather station or the software I would first get it working on a PC running Ubuntu either native(installed) or booted from a liveCD or liveDVD. Once you figure out the various modules required and if udev rules need to be defined( /etc/udev/rules.d/*.rules) only then would I attempt to get it working on Ubuntu on BBB.

it appears you needs some specific rules specified to load drivers needed.
