hi can any body help me i am using usb cam as well as gpio for my beagle bone black i need more power than usual what would u recommend
an externally powered USB hub can be a good option. but you’ll need to understand how much power is needed and to do that you can empirically test it by measuring the current drawn from the 5V supply powering the BBB while your camera is installed and running. A better way is to look at the specifications for power of your camera and in the BBB docs.
