Beagle Bone USB randomness

Hi,

To a powerd (2.8A) USB Hub there is connected
a keyboard and a touchpad.

The hub is connected to the Beaglebone Black.

Normally I first power the Hub and start the
Beaglebone black then.

If the board is up and running no USB device
is recognized.

Replugging of the Hub to the BBB or of the devices
to the Hub does not help.

Powercycling of the Hub does not help also.

Sometimes the hub and the devices are recognized,
when I first power the BBB (which powers the hub
then) and after that power the hub.

With the BBW I didn't have problems of this kind
with the same setup.

How can I prevent the problem?

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

Best regards,
mcc

Make sure the 5V supply and the BBB supply are connected to the same ground.

Plug in the HUB to the BBB.

Boot the BBB.

Then connect power to the HUB.
