Beagle xM(Rev A3) - Latest Distribution and Tool Chain needed

Hai,
I am having Beagle Board xM(Rev A3). As I need to need to add some
network drivers, I am in need of kernel distribution and tool chain.
Can any one please clarify where to download the latest distribution
and tool chain for Beagle Board xM(rev A3).

Hai,
Thanks for your reply. but in that link(http://www.elinux.org/
BeagleBoard) they have clearly mentioned as"This page does not cover
the newer model Beagleboard xM".
Please clarify.

Ignore that edit, as the poster of that edit points to a blank page...

The SAME kernel/toolchains if done right will work with teh xM
(Angstrom/ubuntu/debian/etc..)

Regards,

Hi Chinna

Most folks use the Angstrom Linux distribution (http://angstrom-distribution.org). Look on that page for instructions on finding a toolchain. You can get the latest precompiled demo images and rootfs from http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/beagleboard/ to get you going - they should work just fine on an xM A3.

Some folks also use Ubuntu, for which you can find instructions here: http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu

for Android, try http://arowboat.org (and prepare to use the stock Android toolchain & SDK from google)

hope that helps!

Jeff

i probably added that while i was waiting for saveenv to complete on my xM
i'll change it to say the toolchain stuff should work.
