Sounds like a weird SD card issue... Can you please dump the
syslog.log to pastebin.com when this happens and i'll take a look:
(on Beagle, run the install, wait for the 33% to happen..)

<enter>
mkdir /disk
mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 /disk
cat /var/log/syslog > /disk/syslog.log
sync
power down
Put sd card in pc, copy "syslog.log" to pastebin.com...
