[beagleboard] debian squeeze

hi Robert Nelson
after running your script in my mmc card there is a uInitrd and
uInitrd.final
which one to use for the boot and which for debian install because the
two files "serial.cmd" and "serial-normal-squeeze.cmd" have this "
setenv bootcmd 'mmc init; fatload mmc 0:1 0x80000000 uImage; fatload
mmc 0:1 0x81600000 *****uInitrd*****; bootm 0x80000000 0x81600000'

Regards
Houssem Bahri

Hi Robert ,

i see that you have made "rebuild-uInitrd.sh" to make a new uInitrd

i used your script the install is good until i get to give my password
and after that i get ###Software selection### : the one selected is
"standard system utilities"
and it started the installation and stopped in 13%

when i reboot my beagleboard i get this

This should solve issue 3/
apt-get install dpkg --reinstall

(before it command "file /sbin/start-stop-daemon" should return:
/sbin/start-stop-daemon: POSIX shell script text executable
- it's just script with this printing this text.
After it command "file /sbin/start-stop-daemon" should return something like
this:
/sbin/start-stop-daemon: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV),
dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.18, stripped)
