[beagleboard] kernel 2.6.27 and rootFS ?

I have a beagleboard and i want to cross compile android on it.

- I have downloaded rootFS (version 1.5 - cupcake) from embinux git
source code and
  cross compile successfully.

- I have downloaded kernel 2.6.27 from embinux git source code and
cross compile successfully.

But when I boot with kernel 2.6.27, there's a kernel panic error.
I changed to kernel 2.6.29, this error is no apear.

Can I use kernel 2.6.27 with another rootFS ? And can you give a links
to downloaded binary or source code
a rootFS can boot with kernel 2.6.27 in beagleboard.
