Beagleboard or beagleboard XM

I am debating weather I should get the original Beagleboard or the beaagleboardXM ?

the beagleboardXM has 4 usb ports and a camera port

but I don't think I need the CPU speed because i'll be running command line programs via ssh

Well also command line program speed can depend on CPU speed.

How do you want to connect to the BeagleBoard? If you want to use
Ethernet the BB-xM also has a Ethernet port so you do not need an
USB-Ethernet adapter.

Otherwise, if you want to save some dollars, you should buy revision C4.

Well also command line program speed can depend on CPU
speed.

How do you want to connect to the BeagleBoard? If you want
to use
Ethernet the BB-xM also has a Ethernet port so you do not

I am looking at use WIFI for networking
and powering it by batteries and solar

Otherwise, if you want to save some dollars, you should buy
revision C4.

the pandaboard is look good because it has WIFI include on-board
for US$174

Then you need to compare the cost of the -xM vs the cost of the C4+USB Hub.
