hi,i am trying to put ubuntu image on sd card it …
since i have previously formatted it I am unable copy fails to it since it tells read only …
i am also unable to reformat it using fdisk again it tells read only can any 1 help me …

First check a small switch on SD card, this change between read only and writable.
If is not it, then, your SD card seems to be faulty, try use another…

What are error messages you are getting? Have you checked SD card write protection tab on the side of the card?
