Hi!
I just kickstarted to build kernel 3.14.20 for xM. when it boots, it hangs on the following, but it worked on 3.2 when I built using gcc 4.7 before. I suspect it is related to gcc version, currently it is 7.2.1. I tried to build 3.2 using gcc 7.2.1. it also hangs on boot.
