I bought a BeagleBone Black from aliexpress and when I try booting it was doing nothing no user leds and nothing only power-led was On. I hooked my USB-to-TTL and saw the following traces:

Timed out in wait_for_bb: status=1000
Could not probe the EEPROM; something fundamentally wrong on the I2C bus.
Could not get board ID.

Is it possible to recover or is damaged.

If it isn’t a C, I hope you retained the right to back out of that Purchase.
Your Beagle is trying to figure out what it is, but since that is normally stored in an I2C EEPROM,
it’s in big trouble. You need to figure out if it’s worth your time or just ask for a refund.
You don’t have a Cape or some other stuff connected to I2C, do you?

I confirmed there is nothing connected on I2C bus.
I’d say, just get a refund. It’s not worth your time to fight this stuff.
Who knows whatever else is messed up with it…
If you buy western big brand names on China sites, probably it is counterfeit, restored, reused, etc.
You must learn how to buy genuine electronics.
True, a repudiable vendor is always preferable if you want to keep your headaches to a minimum.
I get my bits’n’bobs from either Digikey or Mouser.
