Hello,

I have got question related to software images available at Latest Software Images - BeagleBoard .

Currently I use AM335x 11.7 2023-09-02 4GB eMMC IoT Flasher - BeagleBoard .
This version works from eMMC.
I use Ethernet and USB in my project.
I do not use Graphical interface, hdmi, WiFi, etc.

Looking for possibility to decrease boot time.
If possible, I would like to try newer and faster versions eg.

but it loks like this version is bootable from microSD card.

Are there any new images bootable from eMMC available?
Could you please recommend any?

Unfortunately, looking for images at Latest Software Images - BeagleBoard can be very confusing.
In my opionin, there is missing a table with main image features like kernel, graphical interface, microSD/eMMC, etc. which can be easily filtered.

sudo beagle-flasher will write the running image to eMMC

Thank you. It works - the image was flashed to eMMC.
Is there any user manual/documenation of beagle-flasher available?
I’d like to understand the steps the beagle-flasher takes. And, if possible, change the configuration correctly.

@RobertCNelson the is the last thread I’ve seen on the Debian builds for BeagleBone Black. Do you not make flasher images anymore? Do you announce image builds?

I do not generate pure “flashers” for am335x.

Outside of Latest Software Images - BeagleBoard and bb-imager update image don’t get announced..

probally can do a trigger on: Commits · beagleboard/distros · GitHub

Any image, user can run:

sudo beagle-flasher

and media (on) will get copied to media (other)
