BBP: making your 3d printer faster
I am wondering how much these guys “took” from the replicape/redeem project of Elias Bakken. While some parts are common among most 3d-printer boards around, some do remind me of the replicape design. What also makes me reluctant to support the ks campaign is that there is an open hardware sign on the boards, yet I can’t find any files (gerber at least). For me, setting up a github account and uploading the stuff prior to starting the campaign is a must.
I’m getting a bit concerned they might have borrowed a bit much. I’ll dig into it a bit and try to make sure the right credit is given (and design files shared as required). My understanding was that he planned to release all the design files.
