beaglebone getting auto turn-off

hello all,

Yesterday, I posted about my beaglebone with USB not working( the first time I used USB on it) and today when i used for about 5 continous hours(was updating the Angstrom image) it turned off automatically. Now whenever I turn it on, it sometimes turns off.
It happens after different intervals of time.

Kindly help me out!!

Sounds like you are consuming too much current and your PC or the PMIC is shutting you down. I suggest you get an external power supply.
