Hi! I’ve just purchased BeagleBone Green Gateway from Aliexpress and it looks like I can’t boot it
When I just boot the card, I see no http interface or any other capability to connect it, so when I try to boot it from SD card it also doesn’t show any workability
I’d like to reflash emmc to be sure that the base OS is well installed on the board, but when I try to install BB drivers on Win10 it just shows that it can’t be installed
So I need your help and advice, how to reflash the board from Win 10 or from Intel Macbook, any advice how to resolve it is welcome
What Image have you tried?
Grab the “iot” Snapshot from here: Debian 12.x (Bookworm) - Monthly Snapshot - 2023-10-07
You can use balenaEtcher: balenaEtcher: known good versions
Regards,
Thank you Robert!
I’ve installed drivers and balenaEtcher on my Mac (still have no ability to install drivers on Win10)
unfortunately when I connect my board through USB I see no connected disk in OS
does it mean that my purchased board is crashed?
Eh, you kinda need to write the debian image to the sdcard first.
Then you put the sdcard into the Beagle and hold down the user button while applying power.
After that, your Beagle should start from the sdcard.
If that’s still not working, get a 3.3V USB-to-Serial converter and wire it up to the debug header.
Your baudrate will be 115200.
