I wanted to know if the on-board JTAG debugger on the BeagleBone is an
XDS100 type or any other type which is supported on Code Composer
Studio.
The reason I am asking this is that I have an XDS100v2 JTAG debugger
which I use with other TI MCUs and I am using it with the "Free
Limited License" on CCSv5, which I can use without any code size or
time limit. The only restriction being the supported JTAG will be only
XDS100v2.
If the debugger on the bone is an XSD100v2 type then I could use it
with this existing license

It is (an XDS100v2) and you can (use it with the free CCSv5 license).
