I am planning to use beaglebone for my handheld project.
Reading through beaglebone’s product page, i read that LCD cape will follow DVI cape.
Can i get some information about LCD cape regarding it’s screen size, touch panel, availability ?

A couple are in the works. First will be a 7" with resistive touch. Other sizes under consideration are 3.5", 4.3", and 5". Once the 7" is done, the next size will be chosen.

Will these capes use the LCD and Touchscreen controller of AM3358/9 ?
ulcd7lite with another pinout maybe? if that’s the case can we use the one that work with bb xm by adapting it?

Just an input (or vote). Would be great to see 3.5" LCD, with options, both with/without touchscreen.
I believe that there is a significant quantum price difference between 3.5" (320x240) and 7" (800x480 ?), which addresses a wide spectrum to begin with, and then fill the niches in between.
