BeagleBone network problem when booting

Hello all

I have a BeagleBone Rev A4.

It came with Angstrom Linux SD card distribution.

When I booted the board, the networking did not work. To make it work,
I had to reboot the board by typing the "reboot" command.

If I remove the power from the board and then power it up again (using
the USB cable), the networking does not work. I have to reboot by
typing "reboot" -- then it works.

It does not matter if I use a static IP or DHCP configuration -- the
behavior is the same.

I tried using Ubuntu 11.10, but the problem is still there.

I hope there is a simple solution to this. Thanks

You are correct.
