Hello everyone,
I’m sharing a brief progress update on the BeagleMind project, along with a question about possible next contributions.
Recent Work
My recent pull request related to fixing the CLI behavior and conversation reset logic has been successfully merged. This completes all currently open issues in the repository, and I’m glad the improvements worked well for the project.
Staying Involved / Next Contributions
While going through the CONTRIBUTING.md file, I noticed the section titled “Advanced Features by 2026”, which lists upcoming enhancements such as:
- Multi-modal capabilities (image understanding / generation)
- Tool-call stability
- Provider diversity
Since there are no remaining open issues at the moment, I’m interested in taking up one of these longer-term enhancements.
Before creating a formal issue, I wanted to check with the mentors—especially @fayezzouri—whether it would be appropriate for me to start working on any of these areas, or whether there is another priority feature you would recommend.
Why I’m Asking
My goal is to stay actively involved, continue contributing meaningful work, and ensure any new development aligns with the project’s direction.
Thank you again to the BeagleBoard team and mentors for the guidance so far. I truly appreciate it and would love to keep contributing where it’s most helpful.
