I am not having issues any longer…

I just had to use the hard reset button on the board to reboot and sudo shutdown -r now nor sudo shutdown -h now work for some reason.

Hello…blah. I cannot update my system once again (after finding out why my gateware demo was faulty).

sudo date -s "today" does not work nor does the actual date with time.

So, git obviously does not work either?

I will update the image to a newly processed image from beagleboard.org/images for the beaglev-fire.

No issue any longer.
