Board hangs when start remote X11 application

Hi.

I have problem running remote X11 application on beaglebone black via ssh.
I have beaglebone black with display, keyboard and mouse, running original Angstrom.
Network connection established via Usb WiFi adapater and doesn’t have any trouble, just works fine.

Board always hangs, when connect to my another x86 Desktop PC, running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and start any X11 application (Nautilus).
I can connect ssh terminal mode without any troubles.
But board hangs if I start any X11 application right after showing it’s window on Angstrom Desktop.

Interesting thing, that I connect the same way, to another beagleboard.
What is the difference between this cases.

Thank you.
Regards.
Dmitry.

Hi.

In order to test more deep, I installed light LXDE over Debian, using Robert Nelson’s tools https://rcn-ee.net/deb/rootfs/wheezy/

The board hangs the same way as it was with Angstrom distribution.

So it seems this is probably hardware/kernel issue.

Dmitry.
