Boot log of failed attempt to flash Android.

Hi,

I’m trying to flash an Android image onto my Beaglebone Black following the steps at http://learn.adafruit.com/beaglebone-black-installing-operating-systems/mac-os-x

Initially I couldn’t get it to boot from the 8gb SD card (and I tried a couple of different ones), however I eventually found this post (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/beagleboard/android/kx43JkGPDkA) which matched my symptoms and I could at least get the user leds to light up when holding down the BOOT button.

However, the user leds continued to flash busily for hours, rather than the 45-60 minutes I’d seen described. I left it overnight with no difference.

I gave up and found a USB-Serial converter to watch what was happening during the boot process (see below).

What should I be looking for to know if it is even attempting to flash from the sd card and why it’s falling over?

Cheers
Malcolm

The log shows that Android image in the sdcard booted up. Congratulations!

-Vishveshwar

It did? Hmmm, good news I guess, but any ideas why I'm not seeing anything on the display?

Cheers
Malcolm

From what I can see, it is booting from the sd card, not flashing the board. if I power up without holding down the boot button, I get an error:

Failed to mount ext2 filesystem…
** Unrecognized filesystem type **

(See full dump below).

If I pop out the sdcard and power up, it still boots into Angstrom.
