Building for a FLIR Camera and BBG!

Hello,

I am currently trying to build a repo. for a FLIR camera called LeptonModule.

It seems I do not have permissions to handle writing to SPI devices. Is this common now? I mean…

Is it common to not have permission to write/read to SPI devices on this kernel: 5.10.109-ti-r45.

Happy Memorial Day for those of us who still care. Outside of sharing-caring ratios, I am getting closer but no cigar yet!

P.S. The build is done, the red square shows up, and I am changing the source constantly trying to configure these SPI devices. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm.

  2. would I need to use a lib. outside of what I have currently to make it work? spidev?
  3. I wonder…

If you see a Red Square, then either you’ve selected the wrong /dev/spidev* device or your cables aren’t correctly connected…
