Building/Running Qemu/DosBox to run X86 (cardsharing) software

Hi All,

I'd like to use the Beagleboard to run a cardsharing program (using my
cable/sat smartcard in multiple (in house!) receivers). Unfortunately
I'am not aware of some programs running on the OMAP ARM core.
Because of this I'd like to run X86 code with some emulator.

The cardreader uses a virtual ComPort driver that should be available
to the emulator.

My question: has anybody done this before? Or does anybody know which
cardsharing program can run native on the OMAP?

Thanks in advance,
