C5 revision

Hello to all!
I have recently purchased the Beagleboard with the idea of learning to
use Linux in embedded applications.
I received the C5 revision.
Unfortunately, I followed up the instruictions in the Beagleboard
manual section 12 to get the first boot going, but those instructions
applied to C4 and the board stopped booting as soon as the SD card was
in place.
I received instructions from Gerald on how to get the correct image
flashed in NAND. I followed the instructions and the board came back
to life. Unfortunately, the Gnome desktop appears in very low
resoluion making it impossible to effectively use the mouse.
Gerald has been kind enough to give a couple of hints, but, so far
they have not worked.
I need help in getting th C5 revision working as it came from the
factory. I am using a Samsung 15" monitor capable of 720p resolution.
I am connnecting it with a DVI-D to HDMI cable. The USB hub with
keyboard and mouse as well as the serial link appear to be working
correctly.
Any and all information will be greatefully acknowledged.
Regards,
José Sacerio

Using the serial link, pause the boot. Type:

setenv dvimode hd720

saveenv

boot
