Hello, I need to share a power supply in my system with the beagleboard and the rest of my system can not run on 12V (prefer 6V, but 8V is OK too). Looking at the 5V regulators on the board, I believe it can run from 8V. If I am correct, then the question becomes whether the additional current draw on the external supply to provide sufficient power would trip the fuse, but I do not plan to use the USB interfaces, so power requirement is reduced in my application.
