Oh Vlad. Not everyone saw on your invite to not ask for a board as there aren’t any, so I have to repeat it here… there are no boards.
I hope to have 2 boards. Now. Who will provide the biggest bang for the buck in getting one of those boards? That is the question.
I am trying to get more made, but it won’t be anytime soon.We need to find processors and PMICs.
Gerald
Jason, I was just being me
Yes. Be you have value! I would say you are on the list ahead of Jason. Not sure if that is 25th or 26th on the list!
Gerald
That really made me laugh.
Anyway, what is the latest update?
- Public doc release (SRM, Schematics, PCB, BOM, Processor Datasheet, Processor TRM, etc)
- What’s working on the beta hardware
- Status of V3.14 kernel on this hardware
- Status of Debian on this hardware (wheezy or Jessie)
- Status of accelerators such as SGX on this hardware
- Status of rpmsg/remoteproc on this hardware
- Release date of EVM
Regards,
John

Anyway, what is the latest update?
1) Public doc release (SRM, Schematics, PCB, BOM, Processor Datasheet,
Processor TRM, etc)
2) What’s working on the beta hardware
3) Status of V3.14 kernel on this hardware
4) Status of Debian on this hardware (wheezy or Jessie)
http://elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBoneBlack_Debian#Jessie_Snapshot
First dd the 'omap5-uevm' image to a drive, and just dd the x15's
MLO/u-boot.img to the drive.
5) Status of accelerators such as SGX on this hardware
6) Status of rpmsg/remoteproc on this hardware
7) Release date of EVM
Regards,
Public doc release is next week. Public as in within this group for now until released.
Everything seems to be working except audio record and that needs to be tested…
SGX are a ways out.Maybe. Not sure. Will see.
RPMSG, hell if I know.
Release date is the end of February.

That is very good news.
Everything seems to be working except audio record and that needs to be tested…
SGX are a ways out.Maybe. Not sure. Will see.
This is not that important because the processors can handle the graphics, but it would be nice to have.
RPMSG, hell if I know.
I’m only asking because without it we cannot use DSP or CortexM4 without RPMSG and we will be in the same boat as DM3730. Great processor but no way to use all it’s features. Perhaps someone from TI should contact the original author (Ohad Ben-Cohen <ohad@wizery.com>) of RPMSG and see it he is willing to add this processor.
Release date is the end of February.
Excellent

I thought the plan was to mainline everything with V3.14.
4) Status of Debian on this hardware (wheezy or Jessie)

I should have known that Robert was on top of this Nice work.
Well v3.18-rc2: cac7f2429872d3733dc3f9915857b1691da2eb2f
So,
That's gotta be the sweetest diff in the history of new ti boards.

Hi,
That's gotta be the sweetest diff in the history of new ti boards.
That sounds too good to be true;)

Yeah maybe it's a bug in git diff instead?
Tony
just be careful that I will keep rebasing the branch always to latest
k.org tag and i wont be carrying deltas of older pre A1 boards anymore
(3.14 or 3.18+) - if a board does not have mods done for beta boards,
it may hang.
We still do not have ack to post this or bootloader upstream.
in terms of what works and what does not work at the moment:
look at commit message of dts addition patch - i will try to keep that
cleanup as we progress.
3.14 obviously is more feature rich.
