Can't get my BBAI-64 to work

I bought the BBAI-64 and tried using it tethered to my laptop, however, sometimes it worked and others it did not. It did not come with the start.htm file, so I followed some instructions from this forum and flashed the board with this image:Image. I waited many hours for it to be finished and then tried connecting it again to my laptop and it did not work. I figured it was a problem with the amount of power my laptop was able to deliver to the board, as it had happened before, so I bought the necessary power adapter and mini-DP port. Got it yesterday and tried connecting it to my monitor, however, I do not get any signal, and I only get one LED on, the power led, tried some button combinations and I got the Heartbeat LED to turn on once but it was not blinking, it was simply on. I am looking for some help regarding this topic, I do not know if I should load another image in my microSD card, or if simply my board has some hardware defect.

You will need a ttl to usb cable to debug this. Start out with a fresh flasher image, connect to board using usb / ttl adapter then boot. The most common issue it is the uboot bug that is hanging the boot menu. Several options exists and you will have to manually select it then it will boot. This has been a cronic issue for a while and really should be removed from the images. Also be sure to use the beagle etch to install it and be sure to set you user credentials. You should be running a linux box not windows if you expect professional results.

Thanks a ton for the feedback, I will try that and let you know how it goes. Thanks so much for the help.
