I want to develop an HMI based on the BeagleBone Black, with displays between 4.3" and 7", but there are no display capes available for sale in Brazil. I found some options on stores like Mouser and Digikey… However, the prices are very high, and adding import taxes makes it unfeasible. I found several displays compatible with Raspberry Pi, but there are fewer options for BeagleBone.
Does anyone with experience in graphical application development have any tips on which hardware to use and where to buy it? Maybe something from AliExpress, for example 
. Preferably non-HDMI options.
I usually go with the cheap HDMI ones that say compatible with RPI and others…
