I have a Universal Blue Bluefin DX laptop that I use for most of my development work. It’s based on Fedora Silverblue and the recommended workflow is to run everything in containers.
So I have built a Distrobox container to generate BeagleV Fire and Ahead Debian trixie images for flashing. It’s based on the Docker image docker.io/robertcnelson/beagle-devscripts-kernel-debian-13-amd64:latest.
Right now it’s in a private repository, but if anyone’s interested I can make it public. Would anyone here use it? It should run on any system with Distrobox, including recent versions of Windows Subsystem for Linux. Distrobox in turn can use either Docker or Podman as a container runtime; Podman is the default on Bluefin.
