Just install Debian 12 “Bookwork” on my desktop. Debian 11 “Bullseye” is not available anymore. Ran into the same cross compile GLIBC_2.34 missing error. Anybody have any ideas on what version arm compiler, tried version 11 and 12.
It’s located at debian.org, you just need to find it under Other Releases…
Debian -- Downloading Debian → Other Releases → Debian 11 ("bullseye") — current "oldstable" release
→ https://www.debian.org/releases/bullseye/
Debian 11.7 was released on April 29th, 2023
glibc:
Debian 11.x (Bullseye) - glibc - 2.31
Debian 12.x (Bookworm) - glibc - 2.36
Debian 11.8 is potentially scheduled for mid October 2023…
Edit, this does come up a lot, would it make sense to just point users to pre-setup https://hub.docker.com/ docker images?
Regards,
Thanks the path to the download was difficult to find. For future reference this is it Index of /cdimage/archive/11.7.0/amd64/iso-dvd
+1 This would be great. I am getting ready to wipe a machine clean and re-setup another bullseye vm to get around this issue.
… Just learning about docker but this seems like a perfect use case.
