Debug Port on BBB.

I've got a Serial cable attached the the BBB debug port, but i'm getting gibberish from it. This is with the stock angstrom build.. I've got it set to 11500, 8, N, 1 and no hand-shaking..

On boot i get activity then it quiets down.. It loos like my hardware is ok.. I've tried several speeds, but nothing much works.

Anybody got any pointers?

Should i even expect to get a login prompt?

Sometimes when you get rubbish it helps to only send ctrl-D, so the login prompt gets refreshed (and try that at different speeds). There should be a login prompt, I believe, yes.
